📄 About & terms
Pip’s Playroom is a free set of learning games, made by one family for their own little one and shared with friends.
It’s an early version, still in development, so things change and the odd thing may not work. By using it, you agree to what’s below.
🧑🧒 Made for playing with a grown-up nearby
The games are for young children, with a grown-up looking after them. Pip’s Playroom isn’t a babysitter: please keep an eye on how long your child plays (Grown-ups → Play time can help) and take breaks.
The ⚙️ Grown-ups area, where settings are changed and feedback is sent, is meant for grown-ups only.
📚 Learning through play, not advice
The games teach through simple play. They aren’t professional teaching, medical, or safety advice, and don’t replace what you teach your child yourself. In particular:
- Road safety (Monster Truck, Daily Helper) is general and simplified. Road rules, signs and crossings differ from place to place: teach your child the real rules where you live, and always hold hands near roads.
- Everyday habits (washing hands, sneezing, food, dressing for the weather) are general tips, not health advice.
- Feelings (Feelings Friends, Story Adventure) are gentle ideas for talking about feelings, not therapy. If you’re worried about your child, talk to a doctor or another professional.
- Sink or Float happens on screen. Water play in real life always needs a grown-up right there.
- First Farsi and First Sinhala spell words the way our family says them, which may differ from the formal written language.
🆓 Free, and as it is
Pip’s Playroom is free, with no ads and nothing to buy. It’s offered as it is: we do our best, but we can’t promise it will always work, be free of mistakes, or stay available, and we may change or stop it at any time.
Progress is kept only on your device, so it can be lost if the browser’s data is cleared, the app is removed, or something goes wrong. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for any loss or harm from using Pip’s Playroom. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.
How your information is handled is on the Privacy page.
